HONSVR Steam Frame prescription lenses bring your distance prescription into the headset, so you can play without wearing everyday glasses underneath. Each lens is made to the values for that eye, with a thin, non-magnetic frame designed for easy installation and switching.

Install, remove or swap your inserts without the need for a magnetic mount. The non-magnetic design keeps these everyday changes simple while avoiding the extra frame thickness and weight of added magnets.

Thin Profile
A slim frame rim sits above Steam Frame’s original optics, keeping unnecessary bulk and weight out of your headset setup.
Plano lenses are shown. Lens thickness varies with your prescription; the frame thickness shown reflects the actual product.
NOSE CLEARANCE
Room around the nose
The insert frame preserves Steam Frame’s original nose space, even at smaller IPD settings, without adding frame bulk or pressure at the nose.
Eye tracking, with your inserts in place
HONSVR prescription lens inserts do not affect Steam Frame’s eye tracking.
From in-game details to virtual screens
Use your prescription inserts while exploring VR worlds, reading menus or playing supported non-VR games on Steam Frame’s virtual screen.
Before you enter your prescription
- Use your current distance prescription.
- Keep the right-eye (OD) and left-eye (OS) values separate, including the plus or minus sign for SPH.
- If your prescription includes CYL and AXIS values, copy them for the corresponding eye.
If you wear progressive lenses or only have a reading prescription, ask your eye care professional which distance prescription to use before ordering.

Q: Are these for Steam Frame or Valve Index?
A: This product is made for Steam Frame only. For another headset, choose the inserts listed for that model.
Q: Will these lenses affect eye tracking?
A: No. HONSVR prescription lens inserts do not affect Steam Frame’s eye tracking.
Q: Which prescription should I use?
A: Use your distance prescription.
Q: Should I choose Prescription or Plano lenses?
A: Choose Prescription if you need vision correction. Choose Plano if you do not need correction; Plano lenses have no prescription power.
Q: Does this include a Steam Frame headset?
A: No. You are ordering one left and one right HONSVR lens insert in your selected option. The Steam Frame headset is not included.
