To help you get ahead on your to-do list (and your wish list, too), we’ve compiled a list of 6 upcoming Oculus Quest games that are set to release sometime before the end of 2022.

1. Marvel’s Iron Man VR
First up is Marvel’s Iron Man VR.
This game allows you to virtually step into the Iron Man suit and take to the skies as you battle hacked Stark drones controlled by the mysterious villain, Ghost. When you’re done flying, you can spend quality time in Tony Stark’s garage upgrading your armor with cool gadgets and weapons. You’ll also be able to interact with other Marvel characters, like Pepper Potts and Nick Fury, immersing yourself even further in this superhero world. Finally, you can challenge other Iron Man VR players from around the globe and compare your scores.

2. Kartoffl
“Kartoffel” means “potato” in German, so it should come as no surprise that this next game features spuds as the main characters.
In Kartoffl, a puzzle-style game, your task as the player is to guide a group of loveable, goofy spud characters through 60 levels. Each level has its own unique environment with obstacles that you’ll need to prompt your spuds to overcome, whether it’s by making them jump or just herding them all in the same direction. Some of the spuds are mischievous, so make sure you keep an eye on each one of them to get them all to the finish line!

3. Among Us VR
The mobile game sensation Among Us is finally headed to virtual reality!
In this game, your job is to complete tasks and hold your crew of 4-10 players together as you try to discover who among you (get it?) is secretly a saboteur. In addition to the main gameplay, which includes tasks, emergency meetings, sabotages, and venting possible suspects, you’ll have the option to play minigames and chat with your friends via in-game text or voice chat. Rest assured that while this is the same game you’ve come to love playing on other platforms, it’s still a totally new experience in VR.

4. Broken Edge
Pick up your sword – or your Quest controller – and become a fantasy swordfighter in this 1×1 fighting VR game, Broken Edge.
Broken Edge features a whole cast of fighters for you to choose from. Each character comes with their own distinct look, weapon, and style of dueling. Wielding your Quest controller, you’ll be able to swing your virtual sword around just like you would in real life to land as well as block blows from your opponent. Playing online takes the fun to a whole new level, as you’re able to pit your sword fighting skills against other players around the world. Need some more practice? Sharpen your gameplay in the in-game dojo before moving on to “real” battles.

5. Espire 2
Espire 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the 2019 stealth game Espire 1. You play as the main character Poe, an Espire Operative. In the first game, Poe discovered that a terrorist organization called OPHIS was planning to take over the world. Now, you must infiltrate OPHIS and take it down from the inside. The gameplay involves the use of several in-game gadgets and weapons, but your main goal is not to barge in and blow the enemy to bits. Instead, you’re encouraged to use subtler methods, like distraction and interrogation, to achieve your goals. Espire 2 will challenge your cleverness as you seek to stop OPHIS once and for all.

6. The Walking Dead: Saints And Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution
Return to the undead New Orleans in The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution.
In this game, you’ll battle new enemies as well as untangle a densely woven net of threats and machinations from the infamous Axeman and the Tower. You’ll also find lots of quests, loot, and a new faction called the Exiles who were rejected by the Tower. By helping the Exiles and completing tasks for them, you could gain many rewards. But if you choose to hinder them, you can steal their resources instead. Only you can decide in this twisty, twisted VR game.
